Skunk Train Graveyard

Just west of Main Street in Ft. Bragg, rest some of the old Skunk trains, having seen their better days running the rails through the mountains between Willits and the coast.

From The Harbor House in Elk

Here’s a view from above the the cove at the Harbor House, near Elk. I’m still thinking about what a memorable weekend that was. Throughout my travels, I know there’s no place quite like this stretch of the coast, made even better by sharing the good food, weather, and recreation with someone special.

Trip to Mendocino Coast
